Siglent SDG6022 Arbitrary Function Generator, stops at the splash screen

Hello, I'm looking for a miracle solution to  unbrick my SDG6022,

It happen while reading a waveform from the generator to the Easy Wave software. The generator appeared non responsive so I cycled the power to the generator. :.  At power up the  Siglent logo blinks, followed by faint clicking, then stops on the logo screen.

Repeated power cycling does not fix the problem, because the FW update is accessible through the user interface the FW cannot be downloaded, the front panel buttons are unresponsive.
Disconnecting the USB from the host did not fix the problem     

This sucks, the arb, is new to me and has seen very little usage, your help is appreciated

One SDS5000 kind of 'died' in my hands a few days ago.

It was working flawlessly, I rewired the circuit on the breadboard and pushed AUTO. 2 minutes later, it was still trying to adjust. So, I pushed the shutdown button. The scope did not shut down. Completely unresponsive.

So I detached the power cable. Reattached it, and tried to boot it. Stuck at the splash screen. I got reprimanded, by the way.

Today it's still non-operational and will be sent back to the distributor.
