Tds744a Application Menu

Hi guys,
      I've just fixed a TDS744a and I'm getting to know it
      I'm curious about the application button that you can reach by using the SHIFT button (on the measure button).
      I search for the functionality in the manual but I couldn't find it.
      When I push it, no options are shown: is that correct? What am I missing?

A look in the scope manual will answer your question.
Or use the HELP function of your scope.

Application is only usable with an external controller.

I did look at it but obviously was not a good one... sorry about that.
You're absolutely right as well about the help button, I guess not used to that either.
