I recently bought a new oscilloscope from rigol specifically DS1054Z. Everything is working fine expect detent rotary encoders (for setting scale for vertical and horizontal axes) which skips every second time. I have to do two "clicks" in the same direction to move once. Or if I am "clicking" back and forth nothing happens. Do you have experience with something like that? Thanks for yours answers.

Check out the latest firmware that has been released two days ago. From the release notes it incorporates an encoder fix.

Thank you for answer, can you link me for that specific update which fixes it. Latest I found was v00.04.04.03.05 from 2018/04/28.

This latest firmware Version 04040402 solves the problem. Vertical gain, TB et al all work properly now.
