TEK 7404 4GHZ scope on ebay

The last one they sold on eBay went for $3550, but that was a real TDS7404 rather than a CSA7404.

What does this mean? From a quick look at the user manual, the feature set of the CSA7404 seems to be a superset of the TDS7404. Am I missing something?

At the time, TDS7404s were selling for more than CSA7404s, for some reason.  The CSA7404 discussed in this thread sold for $3051.

Ah ok I see, then I think I misread the tone of that post. I'd thought you were saying the TDS7404s were intrinsically more valuable, but it sounds like I was mistaken. Thanks for clarifying.
