TEK Logic Analyzer D-Max P69xx CLGA INTERFACE CLIP
« on: May 19, 2022, 09:58:11 pm »
Hello, Does anyone know where to source the cLGA clip (this is a small plastic part with spring contacts which attaches the edge pads on P69xx or other "D-Max" Tek probes to PCB Pads)? Or maybe any suggestion how to build/3Dprint or otherwise obtain these little parts without which the probes are not usable?
One potential solution is to use anisotropic silicon rubber contacting material which sometime was used in the BGA test sockets - but it looks that it is not obtainable either...
https://www.shinpoly.co.jp/en/product/product/electric/gb-e.html = this may be a candidate - but where to get few strips?
Maybe some ideas how to make them from silicon elastomer and thin copper wires?
Or maybe there are any tiny spring contacts anywhere (from LGA sockets) which can be used?

It is a pity that Tektronix went out of LA business, so the parts are not available anymore...

Any advice welcome!

There was a similar thing done for the P6860 probes.

Take a look at this post: Elastomer strips for Tektronix LA probes.

Maybe PM CBrandin.

Thanks for reply! Unfortunately Chris is not online; besides, these probes have a bit different construction.
