Title: Tek OTDR uses?

I saw a Tektronix OTDR on local eBay with no bids so I threw in a small bid out of curiosity over the Tek name -  now I've found out I was the only bidder and have bought the unit at the starting price. The thing is I have no idea what to do with it, I don't do any work with optical fiber. Are there any interesting experiments I can do with this? Is it worth throwing back on eBay or looking for a sale or trade on here? Possibly send it off to someone who wants to do a teardown?  :phew:

It's this Tek FiberMini http://www.atecorp.com/ATECorp/media/pdfs/Tektronix-TFS3030_Datasheet.pdf (http://www.atecorp.com/ATECorp/media/pdfs/Tektronix-TFS3030_Datasheet.pdf) and apparently it has the pricey dual wavelength option.
