Tek THS3000 and Fluke 190-2XX II series scopes....
« on: April 01, 2020, 07:34:23 am »
Anyone find that there's a striking resemblance between the two units ?

Been trying to figure out who actually owns/makes them but there's not enough info about them online. They literally have the same GUIs.

Look at all handheld scopes. They all look somewhat similar.

If they were the same scopes though, it's about 99% it's fluke. Also I know Danaher owns owned tektronix and Danaher owned fluke before they took them and a few others off as Fortive(including tek apparently). So even if it's a Fluke, it hardly matters(looking the fortive stuff happened after the release of the ths3000). Looking through the specs a lot of the stuff is the same, but there are some minor differences here and there.

Hi thanks for your reply, yeah I have used the fluke and when I saw that Tek I was shocked.

Interesting point RE Danaher

I've owned all the fluke handhelds but I'd never actually seen or been aware of the tek version until your post. The hardware appears the same but there are some software differences when you read through the manuals.
