Bonjour a tous,
Recovered a 2236 from the Laundry room, sitting there for 20 years.
Had slight water stains and corrosion on the back which was on the floor during a leak.
Cleaned up fine and is in CAL for scope and DVM, had CAL sticker from 1989.
But the blue CRT filter has several smudges and abrasions on the plastic,.
The filter is an odd outline, to fit the swing up bezel hinge.
Part is 337-2775-00
If anyone has spares I am very interested.
Also, need TORX T-15 screws for back cover, 6-32 thread, length 5/8"
MANY THANKS!
Jon

If it is a plexiglass filter like the one on my 2235, then you might be able to polish out the scratches out with a little bit of work. If the scratches are fine, then Novus 2 plastic polish will do the trick. If you have really deep scratches then you can start with some 2500-3000 grit wet sand paper.
