hi all,
recently i got a tek 2467b from ebay which i managed to fix. the scope is working ok and it passes all tests when doing the self test, but when i try pressing the measure button and try to get the frequency readout i get noisy or aperiodic signal error. does any one know what the problem might be?
also how can you check the on time and power cycle?
many thanks

Press and hold both the delta V and delta T cursor buttons. Whilst these are held-in, press the Slope button to get to the "Diagnostic/test" screen. Use the trigger Mode buttons to scroll up or down the menus to find "Exer 05". Press the upper trigger Coupling button to display hours and power cycles.

Unfortunately it's meaningless, since it can be reset easily.

How it is done?

Remove the covers, change a link to put the machine into "cal" mode and then follow the above procedure. The same menus occur but with the option to tweak the values.

OK, thanks! :)

Hi mj21,
Did you manage to fix the issue with "noisy or aperiodic signal error" when doing an auto setup or measurement?
Thanks,
