Post by: KG7AMV on October 21, 2021, 12:47:37 am
Sadly after nearly 2 decades or a little more that i have had it the Tektronix 2710 has given up..

I researched the issue and not really worth my time to fix.

This Rigol DSA815 Non TG (Just a Black Plug) This Appeared locally on the classifieds. The price was really good so I snapped it up fast it still have 35 Hours on the trials. To bad but it is boot 01.04 I guess other than bridging pins the trial will eventually expire from what I read.

I wanted a Siglent SSA3021X Plus But Was Not in the Budget at the Moment And Missed the Labor Day Amazon Deal and Nothing scheduled for Black Friday.

So Sadly the Spectrum Analyzer will still be the odd one out in the Siglent Based Lab.

You sure that's a non-TG DSA8515? I thought they had a blank plug covering the RF output connector hole.  The one in the photo has an N connector with a protective boot on it. They originally ship with those boots on both connectors.
