New update from The Old4goat:

Thank you for all your help!!!

oldway:
A faulty transformer can't have any resonance because it is damped by the internal short circuit between turns or layers...
This transformer is resonating at 25Khz (the frequency I was thinking it works), then I am now 100% sure that this transformer is OK....That's a very good news.

The next step should be to reinstall the HV board in the scope without connecting the voltage multiplier and check if we have the -1475V.

Sorry that my post caused such a reaction .... but there was perhaps a mistake from the beginning ....
Old64goat should have been advised not to attempt this reparation.

The Tektronix oscilloscopes were very sophisticated and considered the best analog oscilloscopes on the market.
This is paid when trying to repair them ....

I think that even if he was not handicapped, he would really have great difficulties to repair this oscilloscope ... then I understand that he wants to make his blindness responsible for his difficulties, but it is not .

Even with a lot of experience, a technician fails to repair 100% of the faulty devices ... it's not a failure, we must just accept this reality.

At least, he has certainly learned a lot of thinks with this repair, this is what is the most important  :-+
