Tektronix custom ic compatibility

I bought an old 475 oscilloscope and I noticed that same custom ic (155-0078-xx, 155-0085-xx) is used several times with different selections (00, 01, 05 ...), does anyone know if a lower selection is replaceable with greter selection?
