Backlight replacement (CCFL to LED):
CCFL lamps have aged and become too dim. For replacement, a ready-made monitor repair kit was purchased. LED strips cut to size. There is a resistor on the board to regulate the current consumption of the LEDs. Power is taken from the accessory port 15V (not used).
I did not use the brightness control circuit. Consumption was 14,5 V 0.66 A.

Replacing the power supply:
The original power supply finally failed and a decision was made to completely replace it. The oscilloscope is powered by 15 volts with a power of 30 watts. MEAN WELL RPS-60-15 was chosen as a replacement.
Since the power supply board is a supporting structure, an adapter plate was made on a laser cutter.

Fan replacement:
The cooling fan has expired and started making annoying sounds. For the sake of efficient cooling with maximum silence, I chose Noctua NF-B9 [NF-B9-REDUX-1600] 3-pin (without PWM) 92x92mm.
Resistors slightly reduced the rotation speed.

Cleaning encoders:
As encoders age, they begin to malfunction. This makes it very difficult to use the oscilloscope. It is almost impossible to find a replacement. The design does not imply disassembly.
Of course, you can remove the rivets and clean encoders thoroughly. And then think about how to install the encoders in place. BUT
Since the contacts are located directly on the printed circuit board, all you need to do is:
Tilt the board 45 degrees. Pour isopropyl alcohol 99,97% into the gap between the board and the encoder, one drop at a time until it flows from the other side. Rotate the encoders. Tilt the board perpendicular to the horizon. Collect escaping isopropanol with a tissue. Repeat 2-3 times.

Creating a video signal converter to output video to HDMI for TDS30xxB.
In the attached file "HDMI(DVI)Transmitter Project.7z" you will find the 4 layer board design (Altium). gerber files and 3D model.
In my case, the illumination of the matrix was changed from CCFL to LEDs. Therefore, the inverter board was removed and the transmitter board was installed in its place.
An adapter plate was made for the connector. The HDMI connector is installed instead of the LPT.
R0..3=R4..7, G0..3=G4..7, B0..3=B4..7 pads must be connected to each other according to the sсhematic.
Example of captured video signal:

   BOM:
IC Texas Instruments TFP410 PAP HTQFP64 Digital Transmitter == 1
HDMI-19-02F, (L-KLS1-285-1-N-1-R) Connector 19pin (SMD) == 1

The approximate cost was 40$

Has the power supply replacement and CCFL->LED upgrade made any difference to the noise floor of the scope?

Can you please attach a pdf schematic? I don't have Altium.

Thanks,
Miti

Edit: I imported it in Kicad.
