You maybe able to change the bandwidth and functions on the lower end models of this scope.

I have a THS720Std and I am trying to "upgrade" it to a Ths720P, are there any hardware differences between the 720std and 720A? I have seen people with the 720std try and modify their scope to a 720P and haven't been successful. maybe the firmware has to be updated and then make the mod to work? If they are identical hardware wise... :-//
