New multimeter from Teledyne LeCroy.

Whoops, sorry, wrong link.

So it is a re-branded Siglent, sold with a huge premium, and it places it above that 34465A in price.
I'm kinda speechless, no idea what this company is doing. Are they just going to give this free in a package with their high end scopes, or they are not interested in selling these at all?

Part of the reason that is more expensive is that T3DMM6-5-SC part number includes the 16 chanel scanner option
-
The standard one is a bit more reasonable... for a LeCroy rebrand >:D

US$979 is about 860 Euro, so still way more expensive than the 689 Euro for the Siglent

Still way, way, too expensive for a medium range Chinese design. Even with a Teledyne stamp on the front

Hasn't this exactly what LeCroy has been doing on their lower end parts for a decade or so? Surprised they didn't change the color of the UI to match their other stuff a little closer, but not surprised at all that it's happened.
Also don't think it's a medium range design, and don't think that it's particularly unreasonable. I've only ever seen up to 6.5 digit meters from Chinese companies, not 7.5+, and the build quality and performance seem to be solid. While LeCroy is predictably upselling it, so their model is a worse value than Siglent's, it's still right around the ballpark of the Keysight comparable meters, and specs and performance are again comparable.
They're filling out their product line so that a company or research institution can talk to them about a bulk order and they can say "we can meet all your needs!", and they've been doing that for a while. When was the last time LeCroy designed a DMM in house? Have they ever?
