I picked up a Tenma 72-5000 counter for free this week. :-+
Looks really good and test ok.
Unfortunatly I cannot find much information on the model of the counter. Does anyone know if this was a re-badged unit? Maybe something under a different name?
I will post some pics of the inside later on.
Thanks

Not 100% sure but at a good guess GW Instek (Good Will Instrument) Taiwan, just because of the age.
Tenma is also rebranding a lot of Atten as well as Uni-T. BK Precision does it as well but I think some of their older stuff is actually theirs. They look like a Tektronix CMC250 or CMC251 which was likely made by Escort (Escort Instruments Corporation) again Taiwan, who was brought up by Agilent in 2008.

Thanks Shock.
I will look that up tonight when I get home.
The counter works ok but man it is a mess inside. Main power switch is front panel mounted on the right. Mains enter the reaft at the left. Mains wiring just suspended in air running across the top of the board. Scary lol.
thanks again.

After a little searching I found Tektronix CMC251 1.3GHz Freq Counter is identical to the Tenma.
Thanks for the help.
