That's not antisocial... that's just asocial. Welcome to the club.
mnem
Now Furkbook OTOH... that is antisocial.
@Greywoolfe
pls find attached an emotional support Woody.
WRT my recent question regarding very specific pinball transformers it seems that I was able to dig one up, I have the Hermes shipping number.
I had to cough up 300 Brussels sprouts Pesos for it though.
You can have my Brussels sprouts for all eternity if you're feeling short.
mnem
now my broccoli... that's another story altogether. I'll fight you over that.
"Lovey... maybe it's time to buy a farm in upstate New York." ~grand-dad
you are aware of the meaning of "buy a farm" ?
Ehhh... I always heard that said "bought the farm", as in past tense, already dead. Though there is some irony in there; like the song goes: "There ain't nothin' but the dead and dyin' back in my little town..."
mnem
Actually, they bought two farms and merged them. Joy.
Nope. present tense as used in various USAF training videos as for when to eject and making sure you do it early enough to avoid becoming a farmland owner ...
Oh well... as another old saying goes:
"Them what's not busy bein' born is busy dyin'." The farm lasted long enough for me to grow up and get mum outta that little town; after that, for the most part it's been a drain on my personal economy. At least the little corner of it I kept to have a little patch of wilderness to hide out from the world in if I ever decide to give up all pretenses of civility and go feral.
mnem
grrrrr....
I
have been tempted more than a few times to go down that road, yes.
mnem
actually Brussels sprouts are an absolute no for me. I just had Backfisch.
no, when looking at brussels sprouts Seppuku appears to be a viable alternative.
@tggzzz: Little risky to have a mushy mess, which gives them the bad name; I would pour boiling water over the quarters; it should do it.
@Saskia: If don't know them in other form then a tasteless mushy mess, then you position is no surprise; my point would be to keep an open mind, because properly they done can cause fights(no, it's not SF)
Alternatively(I didn't tried yet) deep fried in KFC-style coating sounds a promising idea.
/And the results are in: I wish 42, but the reality sez 59; now, what to do with that many ATMegas(selling is not an option)? Anyone interested?
The outside temperature is slightly optimistic...
Brussels sprouts and celery trigger an allergic reaction as well as an immediate emptying of my stomach.
Arrggg just saw a cheap Tek 485 on ebay this morning, sold as "used" and supposed to be working. I was about to post the link over here but hitted "Buy" instead
First full power up. No issues. Initial calibration/compensation checks look good. I don't expect that any adjustments will be required.
Trace is much sharper than camera shows.
And Now For Something Completely... ON TOPIC!
Hi-def HP 54621D pr0n: ARCHIVE: HP 54621D Mainboard Pics
I took oodles of pics of the 54621D mainboard while I was trying to reverse-engineer the video. Instead of shrinking them all to fit in here nice & friendly, I made an archive of the pics one post at a time so I could keep the res as high as possible.
mnem
TOP has a bar code label starting 54622-66407-
Some memories and U400 have 54624-
Then the board type ending -66507 is stickered to begin as 54621.
One must wonder how generic those boards really are.

No worries. I already have 2 of them plus a junk unit. I think 4 total would be overkill.
Edit.....although I do have 3 Type 547's.
On unrelated news: The -hp- 4952A with some photos (outside only at the moment), more to come...

Sorry to hear that; I wish you some magic to get rid of all of your allergies(one can hope, isn't?).

It is my understanding that "bought" or "buy" are both valid - but what is distinctive is the use of the definite article: "the" - not the indefinite article: "a".
I.E. "Buy the farm" or "Bought the farm" are indicative of a fatal outcome.
"Buy a farm" or "Bought a farm" are indicative of a real estate purchase.
At least, that's how I understand it.
