Got it. I’m going for a walk as well. Currently 205m ASL getting the shit beaten out of me. It’s 3 degrees and I’m walking in the clouds and wind is 50mph+. Reminds you how alive you are.

Good 4g up here but nowhere to poop lol.

The whole Deadpool comics and movies are soooo wrong on sooooo many levels.

I just can't stop reading and watching.

It's kind of watching a train wreck type of thing....

Yup. It's like a whole 2 hours of Robot Chicken.  Ryan Reynolds certainly has found his calling.  :-DD

While I AM known to proselytize the virtues of the "pants-free day" at the drop of a hat... ANY hat... I will be the first to remind you that they ARE something you need to plan ahead first...  :-DD

Still, better to go "pants-free" than to wear your "give up on life pants" out in public.

I read that much earlier when I needed to poop and there was nearly an accident from the sniggering :-DD

Pants free FTW. When I was a kid they had to hold me down to put pants on.

Anyway back home now. Money shot. This was worth the drive. More photos later. I have only cleaned this bit so far:

1989 is latest date code which is again, right at the end of the run for these supplies which is massively good  :-+

Missing 3 HP knob caps though and those are buggers to find  :--

All the same it would have been nice to have seen a before and after shot of the various parts.

It is in remarkable good shape really because the brackets on the transformer and other metalwork are really nice and bright and I doubt that you have gotten a wire wheel in there to give them a shine like that even with your OCD :-DD

Electronics is just a hobby for me. (I am a lawyer by profession.)

Last week I won a big trial. I haven't even sent out the invoice for that case, let alone been paid, when this happened.

Do I need help?

Wasn't the point of becoming a lawyer that you get to send an invoice regardless of who wins? The house always wins.

That being said, nice kit. I really think R&S hit it on the head with that one.

That's what I wanted to say. Transformers and brackets tend to tarnish, but this one is clean as anything.

As technically an IT contractor, that's how it rolls here too (then I have to hire one of you guys to get paid so you can buy a scope  :-DD). Enjoy and nice purchase  :-+

Yeah that was the iffy one. Purely accidental bench shot that but they look pretty good like that.

Edit: found it!

All the same it would have been nice to have seen a before and after shot of the various parts.

That's what I wanted to say. Transformers and brackets tend to tarnish, but this one is clean as anything.

It's definitely pretty clean. Was just dusty. Found some solder splodges inside it and on the front panel and a couple of burns on the terminals but nothing too serious. Last owner wasn't the most careful by the looks though and tried to remove a label with something sharp, scratching the panel up a bit.

Anyway, front panel done (minus those missing caps!).

Before, literally when picked up:

After:

Will do calibration tomorrow as I'm about to pass out in front of Thor.  :-DD

Edit - couple of ones I did before.

6237B:

6206B (this one was rotten inside):
