I don't even watch youtube directly any more thanks to that. Straight down with youtube-dl and into VLC. I'm working on a wrapper in Go slowly that manages subscriptions, auto downloads them and then adds a task to my todo list to watch them. Fuck sitting through ads - the creators all have sponsors and placement now so Youtube is just an inconvenient barrier to content.

It's worth knowing that you can get an RSS feed for a YouTube channel like this:

Thus bypassing the need to subscribe to a channel to get new video notifications for it. Add youtube-dl and you can stay outside the YouTube eco system completely.

What a coincidence! I just nabbed a 6517A electrometer for high resistance measurement. Naturally, the seller was using a car battery to check it.

I use Kodi with the YouTube plugin to do most of my YouTube viewing.  It isn't the most stable plugin and takes a bit of effort to set up, like you have to create your own API key with Google, and it often quits working for a bit when YouTube changes things and the plugin authors have to make updates, but most of the time it works.  And the subscriptions feed shows everything from all your subscribed channels in chronological order, not just what YouTube feels like showing you today.  I even put it on a Raspberry Pi connected to a spare monitor on my desk so I can watch YouTube and videos shared from my other PCs on that monitor independent of what I'm doing with my other computers.  I almost never watch YouTube on YouTube anymore.

Have you noticed that since his last channel got taken down, this time he is appearing on what might be his brothers channel? Either way, they are both 5G nutters and now both are saying Covid-19 is a hoax and conspiracy. Interestingly, unless you know otherwise, there have no reports of any other 5G masts / installations being attacked since his YT channel was taken down?

I found the source of this ripple. It's actually the 25Khz HV oscillator getting into the high gain vertical pre-amp. There's no shield covering the oscillator. BUT....if you put the covers on and insure they make good continuity with the scope frame the ripple disappears.

Sadly, I don't think YT has a voice option for reporting channels. If nobody does anything, he could get mobs to start attacking 5G towers, destroying them and possibly leave some people without any phone coverage which could result in a life and death situation?
