thanks folks, just got a call (not allowed to stay near him cuz of this covid clusterfuck):
it's most likely not his heart, but a ruptured diaphragm/oesophagus (?) and internal hemorrhaging, which absolutely sucks if you are taking anticoagulants because of past heart attacks.
They are still doing their tests.
And yes, they did provoke an emotional response.
Not cool. Best wishes!

just got home from the giant in gettysburg.

so is this ok or not?   really have no frickin' idea except that wallace and grommit used to eat something with a name like that.

swmbo said it must be good because of the flag.  so she tossed it in the basket.

was gonna' point out that she also is a product of the UK, and look how that turned out.  (bit my tongue instead)

???

Well, if you like it, fine,of course.

Curiously a couple of days ago I found some EoL stlton plus cranberries in an upmarket supermarket, for £0.10. It wasn't worth that and ended up in the food recycling bin.

If you can find cheese that isn't sterilised and wrapped in impermeable plastic, that increases the chance of it being good. Best is likely to be wrapped in muslin,in a cold cellar for a couple of years - but that needs a specialist cheese shop.
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.

nope.  no such thing as a cheese shop around here.  40 years ago used to go to one on 9th street in south philly.  but that is not really an option for us central PA bumpkins.

We Italy we are still immune against the pineappleonpizza virus.
The situation is somehow much worse than the gloriuos past, we had some sporadic cases on our territory.

Sometime I can't sleep at night thinking about a tropical fruit on a (should be italian) pizza.

On other news, italians who lives in Germany are spreading the virus among their communities so they will finally loose the taste sense...

Most pizza restaurants in Sweden are run by people from what was Yugoslavia, which means that a very common crossover is Döner Kebab on pizza.  I love me my Döner. But I want my pizza without it.  The pineapple pizza is not my favourite, but I've had it a couple of times.  It is something else than italian pizza. And I should know; I drove to Naples last summer, and had it there. I like it like that.

At least as was taught to me in Home Ec, the history of what we call pizza (the particular combination of open-faced pan-bread, with cheese and sweet tomato sauce) is a bit more... American. This was devised by Italian American immigrants; they couldn't get locals to buy Calzone due to racism-fueled distrust of the contents, and eventually they started making it open-faced so their customers could see the ingredients. Soon being able to pick your toppings turned into a feature of the dish, and a international phenomenon was born.  :-//

mnem
That's still no excuse for anchovies. Here, let's put some blobs of axle grease on there while we're at it...

Pineapple on pizza invokes a gag reflex in me but Mrs GreyWoolfe loves the stuff.  She developed a taste when she was stationed with her ex on Hawaii.  I have had fresh pineapple fresh from the plantation there and it is fabulous, just not on pizza.  I do love a good calzone and stromboli.  We have a pizzeria a mile away that is as true to New York pizza as is possible without using NY water, grease running down the arms and everything.   Brings back memories of better days going over to NYC.  Pizza, fresh bagels and knishes.  Kosher rugalach and Sabret's hot dogs in pink water with red onion sauce.  Can't forget the soft pretzels with spicy Goulden's spicy brown mustard, yellow mustard as a last resort.  Everything in Flori-DUH is but a pale imitation except for Crystal burgers which is close enough to White Castel that I am happy.  Fond memories of beer soaked college nights eating White Castel.  Oh, the belly burn.  Enough about food, time to go and find dinner.

Yup, it's not real pizza unless it goes crunch and the oil from the pepperoni & melted cheese runs down to your elbow, and there is only one true hot dog: The dirty water dog, Sabrett's. All others are pale imitations. Yes, especially Nathan's.  :palm:

Sorry to hear your hubby is doing poorly again; and sorry I wasn't here to offer a kind word when you needed. I do wish you both the best, again.

In my defense, I was bound haplessly in the grip of the Apple Store waiting list for much of the afternoon and evening, only to be told that the Apple 2-year MFR Warranty does not apply to my daughter's 23-month old iPad, because we're fucking Apple and fuck you for buying the one that was on sale that's why. |O

You might also want to take a close look at what's lurking in the background behind that HP rack stack...

The Galv lattice masts ?

Nope, the thing that's on top of those... you can check his other items for sale if you need clues...
It look like it could be a small jet engine, or at least a jet pipe.

Grrrrr, no cookie crumbs for me while I was actually working on that sort of thing today and not having the time to read this thread.  Yes, it definitely looks like a small TurboFan in my opinion.  Probably not a PW turbofan, as those tend to have lots of cabling running all over for the ignitors and control systems...

Only 5? 16 functional (14 analog, 2 DSO). I haven't counted the parts mules in the TEA closet lately. I think it's about 6.

12 DMM's. 2 VTVM's. And that doesn't include the DM44 on the 465B and the DMM Option of the 2465 DMS. And about 4 parts mules in the TEA closet.

Need to fight for decent consumer regulations. Statutory fit for purpose for 6 years on everything here with no exceptions. A colleague of mine got his 6s replaced recently after 4 years due to a dark patch on the screen. The dark patch was actually the battery expanding. They didn’t have any 6s units left with 128Gb storage so they gave him a new 7 begrudgingly  :-DD

On a TEA note seems I brought a 19" Slimline Anchor tonight with age typical ACal memory issues also has a 202 error for good measure. Add to that calibration $ needed and an absolute 'bargain'  :palm:
