Since they seem to be be highly regarded by some, here's another one. With a defective fan. Prime candidate for the fanless modification.

No affiliations with the seller.

"Möglicherweise kein Versand nach Schweden"  :-[

It also says "international shipping on request" in the description.

I've just discovered the name of this bird:

I couldn't believe it so looked it up. It's officially called the Satanic Nightjar (Eurostopodus diabolicus)!
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

I've done the gift shopping. I thought I had a gift bag, but wifey used it for little grrl's V-day plushies.

Flowers... they need to be fresh; hardly gift-ily if they're a week old and wilty on the day...  :-//

SOT23-5 with mark on top UK48.

Can't figure out what it is....
Give us some context, I don't think UK48 is a valid topmark

Nope, I have been printing a test page and those bloody lines are always there, I blame C for this, I think he started a thread about ink jets and then this happened. :-DD

You'll just have to read between the lines.  :P :P :-DD
Nope, all fixed, just played around with the parts from my donor printer, stripped it down and cleaned up the photo drums, the charge rollers and the filler rollers until I found a combination that worked so SWMBO have her 100 pages knitting patterns printed. Could have done it with the ink jet, but she doesn't like that because the pages smudge if they get damp.

Now I can get all the bloody toner cleaned up and also wash my hands. :-+

Also got my AD584-M all working again and put back together again, thanks to the microscope aiding me to see just what the fuck I was doing with the iron  :-DD

Got a new toy for the stack of soldering equipment: It's the cheapest of the whole stack, anyway a few tests showed it does the job. As it's rather seldom used, I'm happy with it for now.

Now look there, a fellow 28s user!

Nope... Found roses for my V-Day offering to SWMBO, and the boi found a nice wildflower bouquet for his. Both quite reasonably fresh.

It was the requested Three Musketeers bars which proved elusive; went to 4 stores in total before I found 'em. I grabbed five to ensure that particular untamed ornithoid pursuit does not recur anytime soon.  :o

Nothing like waiting to the last nanosecond.  :palm:

I had a cunning plan. And it executed. Set the dough for the english muffins yesterday evening, having bought and watered flowers off-stage. This morning, part the dough out, rolling it into balls, pressed in the tortilla press, and baked in the frying pan. A quick Sauce Hollandaise on one egg, clingfilm poached eggs, a couple slices ham lightly fried, and mount it all. One of the truly great dishes of North America, the Eggs Benedict. Add blood orange juice, and coffee, a candle and some groovy organ jazz.

(I also made sure that the kitchen looked OK, and the children were fed, so as not to degrade the experience. Don't ruin that moment by making the object of your cunning plan clean up afterwards, or otherwise deal with the aftermath. )

A bit late, but, yes, it is a wonderful force multiplier. I second the comments on it requiring maintenance, but for the price it makes a wonderful contribution.

In case your wondering how to remove bloodstains from vintage grey faux-leather HP gear: Acetone.

End of message.

How often do we have to tell people? If you're going to bludgeon someone, use the Fluke 25! The "safe for explosive atmosphere" seals means that you can just dump it in the sink and scrub it. Bonus: no matter how hard you bludgeon you can still use the meter to take readings immediately afterward.

To the surprise of absolutely noone, the blood was spilled by yours truly.

First weekend with my new Keithley 6500 :) A whole Sunday for myself at home and projects ready on the bench, what could go wrong...

A guy from the power company just called at the door. The new house down the road was wrongly connected to the grid and they are about to switch off the power for "several hours" to get it fixed!!   :palm: |O >:(

Yes, I should be on Discord Saturday. When I reminded her that Sunday was Valentine's Day I got a completely unexpected response. She said "That's OK, everyday is Valentine's Day when I'm with you".  :o  Ever see a smurf blush?  :P :P :-DD
So is poor Larry is in for a molesting instead ?  :P

Won't make Discord (Sunday 9am in NZ) as it's a last minute mad panic to get ready for 3 days at EMEX showing off our wares to the unsuspecting public.  :-DD
A sea of Siglents maybe a dozen I haven't quite decided however it will all come together on setup Sunday.

Will drop a pic of it all here when I get a chance.

Gunna do like menm....off to ded.  :=\
Well what a right proper fuckup !
Loaded the wagon last evening all ready for a gentlemanly getaway ~9am to set up our stand for the 3 day Auckland EMEX show and buddy hendorog even dropped what he was doing to help the cook and I setup the stand with a dozen instruments and it all looked pretty mint and ready for tomorrows opening. Home by 2pm and some relaxing watching the Pommie yachties get beaten twice again by the Italians. 4 nil !  :-DD

Life's good and then all hell breaks loose at 7pm when a 72hr Level 3 lockdown is announced for midnight ! FFS !  :wtf:
EMEX cancelled again....3 times in under a year !

Just past 8pm we get mail from the organizer allowing us until 10.30 pm to collect our display instruments and by 8.30 we had the skates on for the 35min drive to collect our gear and we were all packed and totally outta there by 10.15pm with our complete display, instruments, benches, posters, cabling, brochures and everything else. :phew:

So instead of 3 days on our feet flogging our wares to the unsuspecting public I'll be home on the PC annoying you buggers !  :-DD

Whatta letdown.  >:(
Think I'll drown my sorrows.
