I didn't like the Wiha ones (I stole off someone and gave back). Not enough torque on the handles.

The ones I linked?

Precision tools? Got it covered. And the drivers are 1/4 inch so they are compatible with 1/4 sockets. This set is perfect for some of the tight places in Tek scopes, especially 465/475's.

I finally managed to dig some photos of my daily driver PC that has to live under my desk/bench because it is huge and I need as much working space as I can muster. I did think that the PSU was 750W but it's actually 850W so I have plenty of headroom there and do it runs really cool, I don't think I have ever heard its fan spool up and with the large 5 140mm cooling fans in the case the whole PC runs cool and very quiet.

The biggest problem is the case is that's so bloody heavy but has loads of future expansion space, I have space for 8 3.5" internal HDD, 4 x 2.5" SSD. It has 3 5.25" drive bays, 2 are filled with a Bluray rewriter and a DVD rewriter and the third has a hot swappable frame that will accept both a 3.5" HDD and either a 2.5" HDD or SSD.

I just love the cable management on this there are numerous grommets where power cables from the PSU can be taken through and routed through the back chamber which has a depth of 25mm to accommodate the cabling and the 4 SSD bays and others can be clipped to the back plate if required. Not a cheap case at all and it is the best case that I have ever purchased, I love it, the drive bays are toolless.
Yup. that's how the V200 case is. Unfortunately, no externally accessible bays, so I find myself needing to rectify that myself. Funny you mention the dual-form-factor hot-swap bay... after I posted last night, I tripped over this on Amazon; it'll be here tomorrow.  :-DD

As well as oodles of braided sleeving so I can make everything match and tiny little dollhouse hinges for the acrylic door.  Be afraid... be very afraid... :scared:

*Hack-Hack... Mod-Mod... Cut-Bleed... Lick-Grin...*  >:D

When I put my PC together, I was running Windoze 7 and the hot swap dock just would not work with it, as soon as I "upgraded" to Windoze 10 it did but sadly lots of other things ceased to work, like loads of games and also my network also ground to a halt until the next update from MS was released which got the networking sometimes. Happily they now seem to have got that part right but sadly still no real backwards compatibility to allow my games to run again  :palm:

I have many similar sets but sadly there are so many different variations that one set does not cover all requirements. I have extra long 1/4" bits to reach screws that are recessed to a depth beyond the reach of the standard bits. Then there are the non standard, anti tamper screws, the slotted spanner screws and so it goes on. I have recently had to order some screwdrivers with 33cm shafts in order to reach some recessed screws on a piece of equipment that the makers clearly did not anyone ever gaining access to its inner working. They would rather us throw it away and buy new again, which many people are not in a position to be able do that. Another piece of equipment came with deeply recessed slotted spanner type screws, just to make neigh on impossible to open up and repair  :wtf:

The 332B cleaned up VERY nice. I did notice it was missing the "CAP SWITCH PCB" and that* may be the reason the output bounces around a little. ( I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be in the B model, but found it here in another thread).

I still have all my Dads appliance repair tools which cover some of the deep recesses. I have also got a few custom ground long reach screwdrivers I have made and rehardened over the years for others. Still a PITA however.

I will share you a 3am Possum visit so you can catch up more often  |O

Unpacked Bargain TEA I guess. Ordered some cheap and nasty Scope probes to go with my recent Analogue scope purchase mainly because they 'included' BNC adapters which I wanted anyway and only $7 USD each. Arrived without aforementioned adapters  start a claim with evilbay 30 minutes after arrival. Reply back 5 hours later offer of 80% refund. Result two very average '80Meg' (allegedly) scope probes for under $3 USD  ::)

I think it is sort of a win but I now need to go buy the adapters and they are nearly as much as the probes full price was from reputable sources making me out of pocket over the initial purchase price :palm:

Yep, we've done 60 pages in a month, this is by far most prolific thread of the forum and as a consequence, and because we are a bit more relaxed about content, we are attracting new members all the time now. I know of other forums where they have more strict rules and they seem to be getting more moribund year on year.

Not quite there is a few variations of them but these below are a couple of options. Strip the bits off the front of the probe and shove it in.

Yep I would have much rather had the bits but I am sure they most likely wouldn't have them and brought the stripped down version of the probe from the supplier in the first place and used the wrong image and description.

They also vary from probe to probe as they rely on the diameter of the Gnd Barrel to lock the probe in place. Not an essential item by any means but just another adapter for the box :)

Get this shit: I tried to send an offer to an Ebayer for an HP PSU and eBAY said,

" YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR BUYING LIMIT. WE PLACE LIMITS ON BUYERS WHO APPEAR TO HAVE PURCHASED TOO MANY ITEMS AS WE FEEL YOU MAY NEED A CHANCE TO REVIEW YOUR PURCHASES."

That my friends is T.E.A :-DD >:D true story, just happened.

If you ring eBay they could probably increase your limit.  Just tell them you're loaded.

I wish I was loaded, but I am just another gear enthusiast. I did send bids out for two 3458A's (both declined), a DMM7510 (still waiting), and an expensive Lecroy scope..so I "hit" a limit I didn't know I had...HAHA!

I just won a PM6303A, but I think a (5) feedback bidder hustled the price up by $50, so I am hoping the seller will delete the bad bids and let me get it fair cost. Still waiting to see. My DER DE-5000 never shipped so I had to get a refund on it and need a good LCR meter.

As much as they cause grief in many ways, eBay does have some limits intended to safeguard the marketplace.  Certainly, big businesses get escorted when they enter the eBay realm, but for the faceless masses, there are defaults.

I know they have Seller limits - meant to limit how much a Seller can offer for sale at one time.  This prevents some scammer listing 20,000 $50 items to hit the market quickly and disappear even faster.

I know they have transaction limits.  A friend of a friend found an antique item on their property and initial investigations indicated it was quite valuable, so they put it up for auction on eBay.  Bidding crept up to nearly $100,000 and stopped there.  After the auction ended they were contacted by one of the serious bidders to say they tried bidding over $100k, but eBay wouldn't let them place such a bid.  The bidder tried to get the limit lifted,, but the auction ended before anything could be done.  What followed was nothing short of a shit fight from the "winning" bidder (including legal moves), but after all the facts were considered, eBay declared the auction invalid.  Subsequent valuation opinions put the item's value as being at least $250,000.  No wonder the "winner" was pursuing the matter.

Now I know there are buyer limits.  It would seem these are meant to prevent a buyer going ballistic and beyond their means.  A TEA pacemaker perhaps?

From what I understand, these limits can be altered, but it requires a call to eBay.

wow, yeh I'd fight too for $150k profit, but I am happy the seller won that case. Crazy shit we never think of with ebay. Once I hear back from the DMM7510 seller, I am sure my "value of offers extended" will reset and tomorrow I can get back to it. Pretty funny though and I hope this helps my "street cred"...I'll talk it up like it was something bigger, like the "size of that fish stories"... :-+

I would be very surprised if they did that.  It's those extra bids that make sellers happier to offer stuff.  Also, your winning bid is still going to be an amount that you were prepared to pay.

This is also the reason why "sniping" is popular.  It limits the time other bidders have to react to whatever bids you place.

Just spoke to my Seller friend and they said that a Seller can specify limits themselves - so if this offer of yours was on an item of a Seller from whom you've already bought from (or have offers submitted), you may have hit one of their safeguard limits.  Might be worth contacting the Seller to check.
