This is more like the Ikea experience I reckon.
There is something wrong with your mental faculties if Ikea furniture poses anything close to that much of a challenge. Having to disassemble a part because you jumped the gun as you ignored the manual, maybe. Anything beyond that raises serious questions.
SWMNLBO got a hack saw out once when assembling some Ikea shelves. I agree with Mr Scram there
Never had the (dis)pleasure of assembling IKEA stuff.

Think I will make my own wooden bits instead
Router test fitted and 3D printed dust shroud designed for the Makita
still not sure it will fit as it is curved in the sixth dimension
Current Brain frustration level above Ikea I think

Okaaaay... So what is this Darwin-Award-waiting-to-happen supposed to do... aside from double-sided production-quantity digit removal and hemoglobin dispersal...?

I'm sure those tubes will dry those manties right out.
Yup... and give them that much sought-after old-TV-repairman "toasted dust" smell.

Poor man's spindle moulder......without the unpictured guarding.
So what... you're just using both tools individually on the same fence...?
mnem
So, what's wrong with that ?
They're only single phase so only so much grunt available.
Hell, I've used 3ph moulders with 2 or more heads aboard for single pass jobs.
Fingers ? Who cares about them when you might be better off with claws.
Ooh, we live in the future now.

Totes with you on this one, even with out instructions there are reasonable to work out, just take your time and think it through before jumping in with both feet.
Looks like a good fun toy to add to the collection as I don't own a SA. Maybe a NanoVNA as well as a ........
I was actually about to hit play on that cheap spec an video before I got distracted coming here. LOL! What a coincidence. Now, back to the vid...
Well, you Brits have always been big on "Class" and who has it and who doesn't. You still engender people with "Sir" and related stuff. It reminds me of the caste system in India. And all one has to do is look at the sinking of the Titanic and see "Class Structure" in action.
Edit...and I have no class.
Never in my life have I been called "Sir" so frequently as when I was visiting the ex-colonies. (the German "Sie" and the French "Vous" are used much more democratically, IMNSHO. The "Sir"'ing in the US feels like a strange mix of salesman servility and professional contempt.
Good to know, we certainly don't mean it in that way. It is considered polite respect here.
It is antenna weather, and moving the GPS receiver was the order of the day.
Time nuttery starts with a GPSDO, or so I'm told. Got a quote for an Anritsu IEEE1588-2008 tester (and OTDR, Ethernet load tester, etc) for work. Oh, dear, TE is expensive... The boss was, shall we say, hesitant.
I need to do the same thing. Any recommendation in term of antenna / cable ?
My Gpsdo is 15V, I need to find a antenna supporting that voltage, or add a DC block and reinject 5V with a bias T
Just making it dual use because I can. Flip out the router insert and drop in a sacrificial drilling plate. The Plate is offset so you can rotate it four times then junk it.
At this stage pre second garage the woodworking gear needs to stay compact and stackable or on wheels to keep the dust outside in use and away from the electrons and coffee bits.
Wheely the Sanding cart / Dust extractor. Will also have holddown plates for the drill/router base where the bobbin sander is shown. Top clear platform is for a 10" disc sander but I CBF drawing it
