What I found incredible was that while everyone could see that he was going crash, nobody thought about jumping into a vehicle and racing off to see the crash site in case by some miracle he was still alive  :wtf:

I thought the 'survivable' height of falling was about 20-30 feet! His terminal velocity would have been much higher than a usual body as he was in an aerodynamic rocket.
Sad to see a 'character' go like that though.
Whoah! Watch where that landed we might need it later.

Watch the camera dude at the end doubling up. They knew he was dead the moment the parachute disappeared. Only reason to get over there was to stop the vultures getting a canned lunch.

Edit: TBH what the fuck do you do in that situation? How do you even handle it? It's not like they have a professional planned clean up squad like the Army / Navy would. Someone is going to have to go over there with a shovel and a bin or something.

Positively and pragmatically, wish his family earn the loyalty on businesses or merchandises sold using his name/character. Especially once he is christened as FE's saint, that will be even better for his family in term of monetary value.

I think a lot of FE is an excuse. We had a flat earth society at university. The rules were:

1. The society shall only meet and discuss society matters in the student union bar.
2. No business will be discussed in a public place.

It was mostly populated with physicists, engineers and a couple of lecturers. I'll let you deduce the reasoning for the existence of the society  :-DD

edit: I wasn't a member. Only the assassins society which meant drawing a victim from a hat once a week and the victim had to avoid being stabbed by a joke shop knife in the neck by about 30 people. At which point you'd have to die a loud and horrible death wherever it occurred (usually in lectures). If the death wasn't loud and horrible as voted by the committee you'd have to pay the bar round. You'd get arrested now  :-DD

And if you managed to avoid the fake death, what then?

You got chucked in the river while people were chanting "he/she's a witch!". There were no winners. Usually it ended up costing about £50 for a round  :-DD

Edit: to be clear this was basically a large and elaborate drinking game.

I'm getting old. Woke up today a hurting pup. Sore muscles in my arms and chest from jackassing that heavy 535A around on the bench. I may have to hold off doing that last capacitor today in order to heal up a bit.

In addition all that moving is denting and scratching the bench 2 surface. Oh well, at least the end of this is in sight.

So it was really a matter of choice, assassins of FE society, the results were pretty much, vast amounts of the amber nectar was drunk

I'm currently on a ferry crossing the Baltic sea on my way to Gotland.

I'm going there to get the Solartron 7061 calibrated. It's very nice sailing weather with a relatively mild 7m/s wind, clear blue skies and about 4°C outside.

It'll be nice to explore Visby without the normal crowds of tourists that there are in the summer!

Redesigning a old german bathroom fan, here what I have learned today:

1) Noise fan in dBA does not sum up. So if you have multiple N fans the total noise will be

Total dBA = dBA single + 10 log N

https://www.tme.eu/de/en/details/pf92381bx-a99/dc12v-fans/sunon/pf92381bx-000u-a99/

so two 74,1 dBA fans equals a 77,1 dBA noise

2) 77,1 dBA is too much for a bathroom or not?

https://www.noisehelp.com/noise-level-chart.html

BUT my spider sensen are telling me I am going in the wrong direction. right?

What about humidity and DC fan???

PS: next step build a shit sensor (VOC gas....)

Same with RF, 3 dB is double, 10 dB is ten times.
Keyboard error: Press F1 to continue.
