I was looking for some nice test leads. 4 wire jobs and Farnell have the following.

I really can not figure out how come they are so so expensive. Are they really worth it? Has anyone bought these leads? Anyone got a suggestion for something of decent quality that is cheaper?

Assemble you own. Franki in Hong Kong sells a good kit.

I have wondered myself the same question a few weeks ago. I gues they don't sell a lot of these, wich will increase the price drasticly. Off course Keithley stuff is expensive (and good quality), and the Pomona have BNC, wich will increase its price too.
Unless its for the boss, making your own seems like a smart thing to do.

I think they make enough to get the price down...

In the last few years, I have built my own 4-Wire Kelvin test leads, since I was never happy with the expensive sets on the market.
I use LiFY cable and gold plated MultiContact banana plugs and for every day precision use, they are just perfect.
