Post by: IngIgn2689 on December 18, 2024, 12:46:19 am
Hello team, I open this forum to ask you about a piece of equipment.

I have an industrial electronics repair shop, for VFD, Servodrive, HMI, PLC, etc.
Next year I need to replace some equipment and one of these equipment is the Universal Programmer.

What is the best equipment today in December 2024? In my search I found: Top max 3, Dataman, Galep5, Elnec

Please I need your help and recommendations.

I have used LabTool-48XP. The latest LabTool-48UXP can support more chips, but their software is charged. The free one only supports Windows XP system.

48UXP if you arent dealing with modern big flash chips,
T56 if you are - but the T56 cant handle all the microcontrollers and PLD's the 48UXP supports.

in short - there is no real "universal" programmer unfortunatly.

some  does require very expensive adapters   elnec and some others,  some are pay per programming, xeltec latest programmer 7xxx series

there are somewhat universal ones   like tnm7000   cheap adapters pricings ...  no absolute

labtool 48 uxp, chipmaster 6000 uxp, minato  and many  odm ones,   "ELNEC is the main maker"  beyond v8.32,  is by 2 years licence

some say svod (need registration), galep  etc ...   some can do obscure devices, ecu programation etc ...

yes  no absolute programmer,  you need to know  what you'll need or program BEFORE purchasing one or many ...
