After watching Dave's eevblog #166 I decided to get a HP E3610A DC power supply and today I picked one I bought on ebay. When I arrived home and tried to use it I noticed something very strange, the colors of the binding posts are red/red/black while Dave's unit had red/black/green (a better IMO).

A quick ebay search that indeed that model come with two different color combinations:

Anybody knows the reason for the color variation? I find the red/black/green to be more intuitive.
(mine is 120V US unit, made in Korea).
