Hello i was wondering around to the magic land called the internet and i got to the fluke site and say this

It's an electrical meter targeted at a specific electrical plant/maintenance/monitoring market.
You wouldn't usually buy one for general electronics work.
That being said, I've got some for sale

They really messed up about making it AC only. That precludes it from automotive use and with data centers going DC (and many that already use some DC power distribution) along with the growing alternative energy market, it will be quickly outdated even for electrical service work.

Really, DC voltage measurement would cost basically nothing extra to implement (switch the input amps to DC coupling and have the DSP do an average instead of RMS) and DC current measurement is cheap enough.

They really messed up about making it AC only.

The meter does DC, they just don't have a wireless module for it. I guess there wasn't enough demand yet, so they worked on the more popular modules for release.

I also think that not covering DC was a bit myopic. Think of all the cell towers, solar systems, cars and  data systems that are all battery and DC based. If I were a communications technician, instrumentation technician, transportation technician, or alternative energy technician, this meter system would be the first crossed off my list I think.

Really i had no idea .....what a bummer.....but now that i think why i found it i can remember my self searching for 1000 volt capable meter .....

As for the AC/DC part (i love this band btw) it is DC AND AC capable but it can also take capacitance and resistance and diode (i am not sure about the diode part) readings.

Yea this looks like another specialized meter for a more niche group of users.

...and the current measurement range of the CNX multimeter goes only up to 400mA. You will need another "real" multimeter next to this multimeter.
When you want to measure the current on 230V or 110V devices directly with this multimeter, 92 (44)Watts is the Limit!. DC current measurements on lower voltage devices, will need naturally more Amps (than 0.4A).   
 
After someone bought that devices, he will ask himself: "for what is it good for?" 

This devices don't seem to be developed by experienced People with electronics background. It happens everywhere - now by FLUKE.
