The RTB2000 scope lacks a 50-ohm input
(1/1)
Sariel:
Hey everyone,
I've been really impressed with the RTB2000 series of scopes, but I couldn't help but notice the absence of a 50-ohm input—they only have 1 Megohm inputs.
My workaround idea is to use a T-splitter with one arm connected to a 50-ohm termination.
Has anyone tried this method, and are there any drawbacks or disadvantages I should be aware of?
This way, we could still make the most of this scope even when measuring devices that require a 50-ohm load.
Thanks!

I believe this is what is done on all scopes that don't have 50-Ohm inputs.
Also, here's a very nice video

I just use a 50 ohm feedthrough with the RTB. They are relatively inexpensive and work fine.
