I have read elsewhere that the bk 4050 series is re-branded signlent sdg1000 series.. When I look at the siglent service manual that appears to be the case.
I have the 5 mhz model and channel 1 output is biased down and not controllable in amplitude. I can see the waveforms but it appears that the output section is bad.
I have run down the problem to happening between TA15 and TA2 . Everything is working fine at TA15 but it is not at TA2. Does anyone know what the circuitry is in the output channel and what I should replace. It is $200 to send it in and get it fixed so it doesn't warrant a lot of trouble shooting time. and channel 2 is working fine.
thanks
robert

Welcome to the forum.
Quite possibly the bad channel has been damaged from applying a signal to a live circuit.
All the SDG 1k models are roughly the same so you can use any of the info online you can find for guidance.
A Google search found me reply #233 in this thread that you should study and a quick look at the OP has a link to some pics:

Write it all up here or start a repair thread in the Repair board as the repair can help others too.
