The Siglent SDG1000 and SDG800 thread
Lightages:
I fried my SDG1025 from pure stupidity by connecting the active output to around 60V . I was unable to determine which parts had been blown even with sme help from Agilent. I had to buy a replacement board in the end.

Hi guys, does anyone happen to know if there's a contrast/brightness adjustment on the SDG1010?
I have it sitting on a shelf overhead and the LCD angle doesn't let me see the text that's next to the 5 soft buttons. (It's white on gray).
Alternatively, is there a way to change the font color of the "skin" of the device?
For reference, I'm talking about this:

Not that I can find.
Yes the viewing angle from below is quite limited, probably only 20oand the menu text does indeed gray out. Your pic is interesting, I couldn't not see the yellow of Ch1, must be just something to do with your camera.
All I can suggest is to elevate the rear of the unit to get a more normal viewing angle or shift it somewhere better in your instrument stack.

The color distorsion is just the because of the camera.
About the viewing angle... that's tough... I was hopping somebody knew of a firmware version with a different color scheme.
Yes, I could tilt it but the multimeter that's on top of it is already tilted and it would look weird. It would also be a risk for the multimeter.
