Siglent SLA1016 / SPL1016 teardown

I've been chasing pictures of the SLA1016 "Logic Probe" (for the current low-end Siglent scopes) for a while, and finally gave in and ordered the stupid thing.

Attached are pictures. People will notice that this is basically a stand-alone logic analyzer, with its own Zynq FPGA, acquisition RAM etc.; there's even an unpopulated ethernet PHY+jack.

And here's the 16CH logic pod. Basically does Single-Ended to differential conversion.

Looks much more involved than the SPL2016 Logic Probe for the higher end scopes!! If these SPL2016 Logic Probes are truly passive, then the higher end 2000 and 5000 Siglent series scopes must have all this active circuitry built-in and maybe someone could create a DIY Logic Probe equivalent of the SPL2016 for the higher end scopes.
