Topward 6603A Linear Power Supply Teardown

OK, an update:
I connected the external PS to the display board, to supply it stable 5V. No fluctuations of voltage were observed.  So, I replaced the 7805 and diode bridge since they could fail under load.  Still, the fluctuations are present.  Finally, I replaced the 100uF capacitor with a new one, even larger capacitor (1000 uF) and that fixed the fluctuations.  Thank you!

They quickly sent me one free of charge. It seems that they really value their customers which really says a lot about the company. A big thumbs up! :-+

And after reviewing the circuit diagrams, it appeared that they do reuse the same boards in different models whenever applicable and thus validated my speculation as to why they chose to break it down into so many boards in their design (which contributed to the "messy" wiring).

Hey AlphZeta. I trust you're well. Do you have a copy of the service manual still? Trying to find a copy on the net with no luck. It seems the company is defunct now. Please kindly advise. Thanks!
