Title: Transistor Tester Windows PC Software

Hi Transistor Tester community,
I am pleased to announce a piece of PC software for the infamous Transistor Tester. Its home is here:

You will need a Transistor Tester (TT) running firmware v1.33m or higher with UART input and output enabled and an UART to USB converter. Prolific, CP2102 or FTDI FT232RL, for example. More information in the help file.

This software is not intended to replace a TT's display. Rather it is intended to facilitate matching of resistors as well as documenting the measurements. Piccy enclosed.

If the comments are not too harsh, a version for capacitors will be forthcoming soon.

And don't forget to enable UI_SERIAL_COMMANDS also ;)

If one can download the new firmware from PC into the tester "as needed", one can extend and use the existing tester hardware as multipurpose testing device with many new capabilities without memory limitations: Just download a new firmware which will implement the required functionality.

BJT hFE for the transistor tester is there facilitating easy hFE matching of transistors.

JFET IDSS for the transistor tester is there facilitating easy IDSS matching of JFETs.

This is the last one of this series :palm:.

If any tt firmware updates :scared: force me to update these proggies too - simply watch this space.  :popcorn:
