I have a question about my Agilent 54621A scope. Manual: https://www.mit.bme.hu/system/files/oktatas/targyak/10878/Agilent_54622A_Oscilloscope.pdf (https://www.mit.bme.hu/system/files/oktatas/targyak/10878/Agilent_54622A_Oscilloscope.pdf)
According to the manual the following trigger options should be possible:
• Edge trigger
• Pulse Width (glitch) trigger
• Pattern trigger
• CAN (Controller Area Network) trigger
• Duration trigger
• I2C (Inter-IC bus) trigger
• LIN (Local Interconnect Network)
• Sequence trigger
• SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) trigger
• TV trigger
• USB (Universal Serial Bus) trigger
The last 8 mentioned can be reached via the "More" button.
However, with my scope I only see the TV trigger, Sequence trigger, I2C (Inter-IC bus) trigger and the Duration trigger.
See image below.

But when I watch a video on Youtube of someone with the 54621A, I see that he does have more options as mentioned above.

Does anyone have any idea if this is a setting, or a difference in the firmware? Which in itself would be strange since the manual describes that all models should have these trigger options.
I would like to measure on CAN systems. So this feature seems useful to me. I'd love to hear your findings.
Thanks in advance.

Your oscilloscope may have old firmware.
Update your firmware.
Rev A.02.20 Release Notes
(Differences from Release A.02.00)
New Feature List
Application support for Automotive and industrial electronics
Additional CAN serial triggering support - Support for the N2758A CAN trigger module, this
allows triggering on the content of CAN frames, including ID, Data, Active Errors.
Added additional baud rate setting to standard CAN trigger
Added 62.5 kb/s baud rate to standard CAN SOF trigger.
LIN (Local Interconnect Network) triggering
LIN Synch Break triggering – Allows triggering on the Synch Break of a LIN serial protocol Frame
or packet., baud rates of 2400, 9600, 19200 are supported.
User-definable thresholds for Measurements
User-definable Measurement thresholds controllable on a per channel basis in either % of
top/base or Absolute units. Three thresholds are available (Lower, Middle, and Upper) and affect
most of the timing measurements.

Thanks for the remark. Indeed it was. I have now updated the scope to version A.02.31 and now the functions are available.
I am a happy person again. Thank you
