Title: Trimble GPSDO ZYT_GPS-1

Hi there I got Trimble GPSDO ZYT_GPS-1  I don't know how to program the rs232 .
I want to a just the time to local, also the back light to make it stay on longer.

I am using usb to rs232 cable brand atten and running windows Vista.

lady Heather only works for receiving only.

Please if any one could help with this would be appreciate.

I would suggest you ask the seller for support.

If using Lady Heather, check the docs.  http://www.ke5fx.com/heather/heather.pdf (http://www.ke5fx.com/heather/heather.pdf)
You can use !U to send commands to the receiver.  Or use !T to enter a built in terminal emulator direct communications.
You can also do this at startup from the heather.cfg file using the @ keyboard scripting command.

Alternatively, use another terminal program (I like PuTTY and RealTerm) to send the necessary commands ($UTC+n & $TZLCL), disconnect the serial port in that app, and then start Lady Heather.  You'll probably need to resend the commands if you restart the device, unless it remembers the settings.

Spoke to Kean, he fixed my problem with the RS232. One of the best guys I have spoken too with so much  knowledge.
