TTC Fireberd 6000A - a quite unique pattern generator/analyzer

Pattern generation - PRBS, etc. - seems to enjoy a renewed interest. At least, it is the main feature Siglent added to their updated SDG1000X Plus models of signal generators.

Those of you interested in pattern generators and pattern analyzers might be interested in the TTC Fireberd 6000A. It's one of the few instruments that can actually do both (generation and analysis) and it's pretty sophisticated. Even when compared to the current offer of T&M equipment, used and new, I think these Fireberds remain an interesting option. Introduced in the 1990s, they were made in tenths of thousands and nowadays are affordable and easy to find.
