Anyone here tried using Siglent oscilloscopes, such as the SDS804X HD, together with an AWG to measure low impedances down to the milliohm range for PDN measurements? A VNA will be the golden standard but the current plan only requires measuring up to ~20 MHz.

Are any extra circuits required, such as differential amplifiers? I believe a shunt resistor is needed to measure the current flowing, but I’m not sure whether the SDS804X HD’s noise floor is low enough to detect the small voltage across such low impedances.

You'll probably need to buffer the AWG to get enough test current, but otherwise think it should work using the SDS800X HD Bode feature.
