Opinions on using UltraScope software to display scope images on video projector for classroom audience. I'm giving a one day workshop to a group of high school students and am wondering what the best way to display a larger image of what's on the Rigol scope screen for all to see? (DS-1054Z) In Dave's video reviewing UltraScope he wasn't that impressed with the performance. I'm wondering if it's been improved since Dave's review? Or should I just use a video camera pointed at the scope screen?
Thanks

It's easy to try for yourself but when it's going to be slow updates (2-3 per second). Better to use a camera.

I tried using the software fairly recently and found it to be rather clunky and far less informative than the screen on the scope. It probably has some use for saving screenshots of captured data but for a live demonstration for students my personal preference would be a camera pointed at the screen if you can get a steady, glare free image.

I'd use a camera. That way you can point at the display and everyone can see what you're pointing at :)

Do you have another scope you could borrow for it? Anything with a video output would be the perfect choice for this sort of thing, but something with a good web interface or a USB based scope directly into a PC would all be very good options - just trickier when the scope is lacking the output hardware to make it really straightforward.
EDIT: Maybe third party software? A few are mentioned here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/rigol-ds1054z-is-there-any-open-source-software/ (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/rigol-ds1054z-is-there-any-open-source-software/)

Thanks everyone. You just saved me a lot of time, very much appreciated. Sounds like Dave's review is still spot on.
My thought is it use an iPad pointed at the Rigol scope and mirroring the iPad screen to a Amazon Fire Stick with Airscreen.
Or does anyone have a better idea?
