UNI-T UPO2072E Don't boot
« on: November 09, 2024, 09:38:13 pm »
Hello, my name is Lisandro and I am new to the forum.

In 2021, I purchased a UNI-T oscilloscope model UPO2072E. I didn't use it much (because I honestly didn't need it) and this week when I wanted to turn it on, it won't boot. The oscilloscope has less than 3 hours of use.

The oscilloscope turns on, a legend appears that says "system loading", the UNI-T logo is displayed, it performs a verification (the sound of relays switching is heard) and then the screen brightness drops a little, and it stays there...

I tried to update the firmware from a USB stick but when I do, I get a message saying "Update file not found". I downloaded the firmware from the official website, but I'm not sure it's the right one. I formatted the memory in FAT32, FAT, NTFS and exFAT, but none of them worked, and I also tried other memories.

This is the link of the official page:
https://instruments.uni-trend.com/products/digital-oscilloscopes/UPO2000E

There is no firmware to download in the section SOFTWARE&FIRMWARE.

I tried the firmware that appears on this page whose name says UPO2000 or MSO2000, but none of them worked.

If anyone happened to it or knows how to solve it, or can provide me with the appropriate firmware for this device, I would be more than grateful!

I attach screenshots of the team and the messages.

Thank you very much in advance. Greetings.
