Hello Everyone,

I have the same problem with my SDM3055, it hangs on the logo. I wanted to update the software from version 1.01.01.19 to 1.02.01.27R2  :palm:
Welcome to the forum.

Gulp....from 2017  V1.01.01.19 to latest FW is a massive jump that may have been best to do in steps...
Although, at least with V1.01.01.19 we can use the USB recovery package.  :phew:

Greetings All,

Same problem here with my SDM3065. Hangs on first boot screen.

I have tried recovery file set supplied by local Siglent reseller. Flash drive flashes a few times on boot but then stops, still showing Siglent boot screen.

Does anyone have the latest recovery file set for this model.

Here I am, one more lost soul with a SDS1152CML+ scope that all of a sudden stoped booting and is stuck in the "SIGLENT" screen.

Maybe @Tautech can help here out?

Hi Tautech -- yet another owner here of an SDM 3055 that's stuck at the boot screen. I'd appreciate receiving the recovery files/kit.

The meter was updated at least to SDM3055_1.01.01.25_EN-1 a couple of years ago.  I see that I also downloaded SDM3055_V1.01.01.27R2_EN.zip back in Feb 2024, but I may not have installed it.

Hopefully your recovery kit will work on either?

UPDATE:

Tautech responded, sent me the recovery files, and I was able to perform the recovery, and later (separate step) update to newer firmware.

Thanks Tautech for being such a mainstay of the community!

I've recently faced exactly the same issue with SDS1052DL+. It is stuck on boot menu. I tried hardware reset: https://siglentna.com/operating-tip/oscilloscope-hardware-reset/ with MATH button but it doesn't work. There's something that I can do to fix it? Maybe @Tautech can help here out?

I received email from Siglent support team. Recovery files doesn't work. I tried with several pen drives with various capacity and it do nothing. I have next SDS1052DL+ bricked. It happened exactly like with previous one. Yesterday everything was correct and today oscilloscope was stuck on boot menu. I tried with the recovery files but it also doesn't work. We have 7 item of SDS1052DL+ in our university that was bought about 8 years ago. I also opened cover of this oscilloscope. On the main board I found micro SD card slot but it also doesn't provide recovery function. I wrote about it to Siglent but they didn't respond. What can I do?

I restored one SDS1052DL+ unit via USB stick with recovery files but it failed with the second one. I tried lots of USB sticks (FAT32 formatted with 4096 B allocation unit). The Siglent support team sent me instruction and recovery files for SD card that is available on the main board. It works but it was some effort with unit disassembly and short ZR85 on the main board and so on but it was worth it. Thank you tautech for your help.

Looks like after 4 years of use my 3055 has decided to express this nifty feature.  Hoping it's recoverable
