Uni-T UTG 1022X-PA Wavegenerator - First impressions

I just got this wavegen, and i thought some might be interested learning about it. Havent done much testing, but if you want to know / test something, just tell me.

The knob has rubber which is good. It does though skip steps if you turn it to fast, but its much better as the rigol DG800 or Siglent SDG1000X. The current selection is not easy to see, though.

Frequency sometimes change from like 100.000mHz to 1mHz when decrementing the first digit, differing in the behaviour when decrementing at other values.

Color of channel 1 has yellow curve, but is red anywhere else.

Knob changes selection of values in unusual way. (Turning right changes selection upwards).

Lower limit is exceeded, when inverting the signal.
Noise waveform exceeds limit 3V and 0V with about 0.4V! Also exceeds lower limits when switching from DC to any other waveform (-1.6V).
Lower limit is exceeded, when offset is near 0V, amplitude is near 0V, and when amplitude is changed to 3V (offset is automatically changed to 1.5V)(0V offset _ 0V amplitude to 1.5V offset _ 3V amplitude.png).
This problem occurs also when switching off the channel while changing the setting. The exceedence is less in this case.

Starttime 12 seconds.
Some settings were not saved: load and amp limit of channel 2, waveforms...

No presets!

When changing offset, amplitude is automatically changed, when limit has to be enforced.

When returning from Utility CH1 settings, and going into CH2 setting, the last page is still selected, which was last selected in CH1.
When in utility settings of channel, its not visible which channel settings are choosen.

Software version is not fully shown. *facepalm*

Upgrade does not work with every USB-Stick.
There is a dialog, with a choice, but only chinese letters, that appeares after the upgrade. It asks for the upgrade again.

Arbritrary wave was wrong after switching off and activating again.

Why do these relatively expensive, dedicated AWGs often have such a poor rise time?
A fast rise time and short, precise pulses are actually quite useful for testing things?

How fast do you want it.?
ain't some of these entry models risetime down around 2 to 3ns .
Though OPs UTG1022X, seems on paper to be up around 16ns. https://static.eleshop.nl/mage/media/downloads/UNI-TUTG1000Xdatasheet.pdf

Because this is an AWG not a square wave generator. It's designed to make waves with the limited frequency content written on it's datasheet, 20 or 40MHz in this case.
Fast rise time has very high frequency harmonics.

OP, what does this this power amplifier in this do?
