| Unknow Instruments - Philips EL7390/00 (see images) |

Long time no see EEVblog forum, i bought those 2 instruments only for the shell so i could reuse it for other projects, but i also dont like to destroy things mindlessly, and i'm intrested in what they are. i tryied to search for the philips part n. but nothing was found, can someone tell me what those 2 are? Relevant details: - one has writter on it "mittente" - meaning transmitter everything else can be found on photos |

Wild guess: analog phone; most likely some long distance lines related. |

Well they don't look like test equipment, those would be have a GM or PM prefix for the model number. EL prefix is more likely something from the audio/video/communications part of Philips. The front has a connector for use with a tape recorder, the rest I'm not sure. Might be better to ask the same question on some vintage radio/technology etc. forums. David |

My best guess: some kind of induction loop amplifier. I can't find anything about this model but "EL" points at audio equipment. |
