Siglent SDS1102CML+ Reset lost functions
« on: January 31, 2019, 12:25:42 am »
Hi,

I have a Siglent SDS1102CML+ (actually DIGITECH QC1934) and was getting to know it. I thought it would be a good idea to use the multiple MATH key to do a factory reset(Stupid eh!).

It came back ok, but now the system status doesn't show the model number and some other functions are missing(deep memory for example).

I have Telnet access to it. Is there a config file or something I can reload to get this back?

Thanks.

Welcome to the club, I've been trying to fix that for 2 years!

Someone from Siglent did once say they were going to release FW with cfg files, but...
...and they still might not be compatible with your DIGITECH anyway.

.  That took much longer than I thought it would.

I almost bought one of these scopes once and was pretty sure that the Jaycar Digitech QC-1934 was a CML and not a CML+ series, the latter incorporated a higher screen resolution of 800 x 480, a LAN connection along with a different firmware version, this could be an issue if you loaded the incorrect firmware version.

You're right, according to this ad the QC-1934 is not a +, but nothing would surprise me, the confusion caused to sites and sellers by the + is nearly unlimited.
