As an SDG2000X owner, I would be looking forward to an SDG3000X... ;)

You should mark it in bold so that it doesn't cause irritation again. 8)

As a not-yet owner of an AWG, I'm conflicted between the SDG1000X and the SDG2000X series.

The SDG2000X series is getting a bit long in the tooth, but the 120 MHz reach and the longer memory are of some interest to me.
I was even thinking of PMing tautech to get some advice - hoping in a "just wait a bit" answer.

This new AWG makes me wonder if a refresh might be in the working for the SDG2000X too...I'll give it some months (I have a voucher to redeem at one online shop, but it's going to expire mid next year), then decide.

I have translated the DS with DeepL, @tautech, can I post it here?
(the © notice wouldn't seem to allow it)

Martin72:
With 16bit, 8Mpts of memory and almost the same sample rate, the plus is almost the same as the 2000X, at least in this area - it will be interesting to see whether there will also be a plus version of it, in order to distance itself sufficiently not only in terms of frequency.
The models seem a little strange.
30Mhz and then a jump to 60Mhz, that's clear.
But 25Mhz....

Aldo22:
According to the data sheet, the square wave rise/fall time is 11ns. In the version without “Plus” it was around 4.2ns.
Is that the “price” for 16bit?

Sorry for a noob question.
