HP 16702A line voltage
« on: July 02, 2015, 02:38:04 pm »
Does the HP 16702A come with an autosensing power supply to switch between 115 and 230V AC?

In the installation guide I only see this remark:

Code: [Select]
HP 16702A: ~Line 115/230 volts ± 20%, 48-66 Hz, 610 Watts max.

Not that I blow up when I just unpacked it (o;

There's no 230/115V switch, since it's a switching PSU that auto-detects the line voltage. Probably a relay inside that switches the SMPS DC input rectifier from full wave (115V) to half wave (220V) bridge
