UT612 bad accuracy for the inductor, anyone experience?
« on: October 15, 2024, 07:13:04 am »
I have just bought UT612.
I have a project using common filter inductor, value in hundreds mH range and try to measure it but value difference with same parts.

For example I measure the Wurth 750318652 https://www.we-online.com/components/products/datasheet/750318652.pdf, the value on the manufacturer is 100mH at 10khz, but I measure with 10khz it show 25mH.

And I try to measure some filter it show 180mH for 100mH value by manufacturer, they write it is 1khz measurement: https://www.lcsc.com/product-detail/Common-Mode-Filters_XR-XRUU9-8-100mH-V_C5358173.html.
So the error rate is 80%  |O

So I am very disappointment about the UT612.

I do it wrong or it is limitation of this device? Before by the UT612 I just read in the front page show range from 20uH-2000H and bought, it is my fault. The range is not for all frequency.

I also try some power inductor like 33uh, 22uh and it accurate. But anythings bigger than 10mH show ridiculous value.
