So true. My main job is software development and my clients are very pleased. I'm a good architect and programmer and our business does great, but I am a horrible boss and accountant. If it wasn't for my wife, nobody would ever get billed and I would be doing it for free. Often I put off billing for months at a time and I also find myself doing stuff for free just because it seems really cutting-edge at the time. It makes no logical sense though. I have no patience for managing people and I handle it wrong when anyone I hire goofs up. I am a horrible micro-manager. If I weren't so stubborn I'd probably have a massive company on my hands.
