SIGLENT SDG1032X Saved State File has no Data
« on: December 31, 2018, 08:26:34 pm »
I decided to try saving the state of my SDG1032X and I noticed that it was not restoring what I had the instrument set up to, so I looked in the file and sure enough there is no state data in it. The instrument says it is 50B, and here is the contents:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<STATE01/>

Am I missing something? I expected to see the frequency, amplitude, waveform, output load, etc. all saved in the file.

I updated to the latest firmware, but it made no difference.

Aha! Power on Settings = Last worked!

Now when I save the state I can see that the file contains the entire state of the instrument.

Thanks tautech.
