UT70B PCB Photo
« on: October 24, 2013, 11:49:05 pm »
I've had my UT70B in bits for the last week or so while I try and learn more about the parts and how it works;  so I thought I'd share a nice pic of the board if anyone is interested.

At least there are some MOVs and PTCs present. Even a sparkgap.
The voltage jack is well protected. But for fuse replacement you must open the DMM and remove the next 4 screws on the input jacks. That is crap. And the fuses are only 250V rated.  :--

I found some photos here. https://picasaweb.google.com/104378593109746079667/UT70B I am not an author of these photos. They were made by David Cada in May 2011.
